I disinfected the guitar when I got it, no germs left. '

This guitar plays like an orgasm.
So it reaches a crescendo within a few minutes of wrapping your hand around its neck...and then it's done for the night?
More like multiple orgasms, there's no god damn end!

Excuse me, I have to go rub the guitar in my genital area.

I actually have a patent out on that device. I'ts going to be HUGE....

I still can't believe it runs on diesel.

Dude, The new one will run on methane gas which essential means it will be self powered.

Or you could make it run on gas created by Belgian beer. It would actually work out well since it's already in your ass. :D

What is the point of putting a Charvel sticker on the headstock if it's all made of Musikraft parts?
Do you drive a Toyota with a Mercedes-Benz star on the hood? :gethim:

Is this Toyota an exact replica of a Mercedes? A more appropriate comparison would be an AC Cobra kit car...and people do include the Cobra emblem on them...its all about completing a look. As long as the final product isn't passed off as the real thing, I see no problem the logo.

No, why the hell would I do that? Mercedes sucks :D

Yes let's get into what car is better, that will win you some points for sticking to the case here.
What's to stop you or the next owner from trying to pass it on as the real thing.
Perhaps you have a nice little e-bayed San Dimas plate on it to go with those fries?
My point is:
The guitar looks awesome to begin with, it doesn't need any Charvel sticker and that guitar probably cost more than a new Charvel anyway so bollocks to your Cobra kit comparisons.
Now go unwad your pants y'all

I see your point here. And I didn't put that sticker on there ;) I really don't care about logos.

And I will think about that when/if I sell this guitar. There's enough fake guitars out there!

it is not a sticker, it is a professionally made waterslide that was professionally applied underneath a layer of clear. no stickers!

Oh hell, that means for the sake of morale, I can never sell this guitar :D

I have no doubts of your intentions, just saying there are plenty of people who try to move all sorts of 'vintage' guitars. I guess there are plenty of screw-counters out there to call out any fakes for sale as well   anyway, with the way that thing looks, I would keep it! ;) what body wood is it? I am curious to how the Aldrich pickup works with other guitars than mahogany ones...been aching for a goldtop with a set of those pups in it, just like the man himself

There is no way a Wizard MM OT could have blown, there is a guy who is an endorsee and demos the amps at Namm and the amp shows who knows the seller of that amp you bought and says he is a stand up guy.

And I put in a Suhr Aldrich, put a shim between the neck and body so the OFR can sit on the body, taped up the trem arm so it fits snug, dampened the tremolo springs, and voila! Oh, and I also mounted strap-locks, with the mandatory snake skin strap  This guitar plays like an orgasm. And sounds even better! God I love the Aldrich pickup!

This is actually my first guitar made of Musikraft parts, and I must say I am impressed. Plan on putting together one with H/S/S config, contoured heel, and Gotoh floyd, etc. Hell yes

And I even have a SLO-clone in the workings, with a matching snake skin headcase planned :D

Turned out like this:

  Very nice, I bet the Aldrich sounds great in Alder

I bought 2 4x12's from Joey .... we should hang out....

oh and no bodily fluids were exchanged.... at least from what I recall..

As mentioned up in the thread, it's alder. Sounds great! I haven't tried the pickup in mahogany, though. I know Suhr puts them in basswood bodies aswell!

Where in Norway do you live? :)

God damnit, this thread is getting nastier by the second. If I lit it up with blacklight, I'm sure there would be body fluids all over it. Damn...
