What about forming a multinational band? As most of you know, I play guitar, so I'd be interested in finding the rest of the musicians from all around the world. They should be willing to collaborate in an interesting musical project with varied influences. I frequently record like a million guitar tracks, so working with another guitarist would not be a priority. Maybe a guy playing acoustics could contribute with something quite interesting I guess. I'm really quite opened to suggestions and different possibilities.
Minimum requirements:
+ All musicians must be decently equipped (Talking about gear, guys! Ditch the naughty interpretations of my misleading statement)
+ Everyone should have a good home studio for recording purposes of course. As we'll we mostly working online, everyone should be capable of making recordings with really good quality.
+ All lyrics must be in English and, please, no nonsense screaming near the mic pretending you're the king of metal. As most of you know, I'm into melodic, yet powerful, vocalists.
Influences:
As I've already stated, I'm quite open to suggestions, but these are some of the ideas I have in mind:
1) Modern rock could include the good old Nickelback and the like.
2) Focusing more on modern metal, bands like Tesseract and Intervals do the trick.
3) And this is my favorite of course... On the progressive side of things, Transatlantic, Spock's Beard and everything else featuring the great Neal Morse is the shit people!!!
I guess I'm not forgetting anything. If you're interested or know someone who could be interested, just PM me. Thanks in advance, guys.
