A while back, I bought a few Duncan hums from a local music store to put in this CMG Ashlee Les Paul style guitar I've got, and I just never got around to installing them. The guitar currently has DiMarzio Eric Johnson Custom pickups in them, and they sound great for what they are, but not quite chunky or hot enough. I do like that they have the nickel covers on them, so they are nice and shiny and fit the aesthetic for the Les Paul style look.
I have a Full Shred bridge and neck set, and a Custom Custom bridge. Either one is going to be hotter than the ones in there, but I am having trouble bringing myself to change the aesthetic of the guitar. If I can bring myself to do it, any suggestions on a combo to use from what I've got? It's all classic rock and 80s hair rock. I usually jam on more lead work than I do rhythm stuff, but I love a good "clean" distortion, as in being able to hear individual notes with some nice clarity.
Anyways, here are some ooooooold pics I found on my Photobucket that I am deleting today and downloaded all my photos to my computer and put them up on imgbb.
