Not really a fan, only heard a handful of songs. But the thought of seeing them play in a small venue (400-500 people max) and to hear a Friedman Butterslax (my favorite amp) cranked up being used and abused live was what sold me into going lol...
I got to say, not seeing a Butterslax on stage was a let down lol. As for Mastodon, I now get them. I couldn't get into them listening to them thru headphones at work but seeing them live, switching off on vocals the way they do and just feeling them play from their hearts was a pretty cool experience. ... but still why have a signature amp and not use it.. fak
