And the lower the higher the wattage the resistor needs to be and the less power you'll have on the HV - so what? The point is you put an exposed fuse holder on the OUTSIDE of the chassis. If the amp fell over and was turned on and someone reached in to grab the back the amp to set it upright again - you'd have a lawsuit - and you didn't give a shit, and still don't give a shit.

You also skipped the comment about NOS tubes never needing replacement...
