It's been getting bad for a while, but this just pushed the community over the edge. There was a venue there called Annabelle's that we played a bunch that closed a few years back. Since then, I haven't been over there. This place we're playing is the new crust punk hangout in the area. That scene is fine.

It's the area around it that is falling victim to "teen" takeovers.

Mordor is coming

Same thing happened to St. Louis. There used to be some cool areas downtown that were a blast to hang out in. Laclede's Landing, Soulard, Washington Ave, etc. Now you can't pay me go down there even in the daytime.
I lived and worked in Akron 1989-1990 Bezo, a good friend of mine had a house near Portage Lakes. Parts of Akron back then could be rough neighborhoods but the strip of Market St was always sort of upscale but I'm sure things have regressed since then. Like 311boogieman there are areas in Chicago, St Louis, Cleveland and other bigger towns and cities that are becoming no go zones and now you have Teen Takeover swarms.

I'd say maybe take the blood off the ad and I'm sure the police presence will be upped since the incident but you'll have to watch your own back as well. If you have marauders going into more stable areas that's going to be a problem. The turn out for the show may be affected it just depends on how bad it freaked people out.

It sucks but it seems to be occurring in many places right now.

I rarely drink these days and never to excess. Nevertheless, based on days gone by I absolutely trust myself with a gun at any time.
Well let's be honest, we don't trust you with a gun or a string winder if i can be completely frank...

Just kidding 😂

Let me know if you need some plates and a vest, I have a vest and some rifle rated plates I need to sell :hys:
You know I luv ya man, but that city has been going hell in a hand basket.
Every other day someone's shot and //or killed.
That all that poor city needs in half priced vest. I know I should have brought mine back from the Marine Corps.

Anyway,
Bro,it'll be fine and hope yous have a great show.
Whos the tour act and are you getting paid?

.....I do believe Hell's Angels have a chapter in that area.
They can handle security.

This is the headliner.

We'll get a cut of the show. Even if the show does end early, we'll be fine. We're first.

Due to the uneasy circumstances regarding this show, I highly recommend only taking out your second most expensive boutique amp to this gig.

So, use the 5150 and the Stiletto and leave the Mark V at home? I'm not running mono at this show. I refuse to let the "youth" win.
