Listen you bunch of indignant whiners:

We can only physically process so many orders a day. If we were to dump 100 units in the store they would undoubtedly sell out that same day. There is no way we could ship 100 units the next day. So then people would be bitching and moaning that their unit hasn't shipped yet.

So we put a certain number of units into the store each day that we know we can fulfill the following day.

Today those units sold out in 90 seconds which I found humorous but those with impaired funny bones took as an affront.

Tomorrow more units will be placed in the store. The next day we will again place units in the store and so on.

This is the way it works. If you don't like it or feel insulted by it or by what I have written then don't buy it.

There is no excuse. A lot of the BS that happens on a quite few forums from the people who defend him at every turn get their mentality from the top down.

He knows his product is hot shit, hell I think the Ultra is the best thing since sliced bread. This is sort of par for the course when it comes to the creative types though. They often make an exceptional product but come up short on in the personal skills department. Makes sense why he has Jay Mitchell around, another exceptionally brilliant mind with seemingly no social skills.

Ding Ding Ding! Because he and Jay Bitchell are cut of the same cloth. Your brain power doesn't equal theirs which gives them carte blanche to say whatever flows from their mouth.

Here is the kicker... I love the Axe unit and own one and will for a long time and will get the 2 when I'm ready.... it's a great unit but crap the PR from the company sucks big time.

Cliff's message may have been a bit harsh but I think some of it was a bit of hardass humor.

I'm a member of that forum and it has been completely insane over there since the AxeFX-II announcement. Cliff might be rude but there were some customer messages that looked like they were written by rich 13 year-olds. Some people over there have this attitude like Fractal needs to email them daily and be their friend.

I can't wait until this whole "I got one first" crap passes, then maybe people will return to normal....somewhat.

There's a bit of blame to go around here on both sides, frankly.

Having been in business for a while, he's certainly aware of how much interest there would be in the II when it came out, and likely could have prepared a bit better for release.

On the other hand, some folks need to be told what the deal is as far as the "me first" syndrome that seems to seep into internet posts (to put it nicely). I doubt his attitude is going to sway potential buyers, as long as the product and follow up customer service meets expectations.

You know, I certainly understand where Cliff is coming from. This is absolutely, however, 100% the wrong way to convey this info. If you don't want people to bitch, don't host a discussion forum. Bitching and forums go hand in hand.

I no longer see the actual post, possibly removed as it was there most of the night.

I did notice a lot of threads with any kind of negativity towards Fractal and a last edited by Jay Mitchell was on quite a few when the owner of the thread/message was not Jay. Like he modifies what people write without their approval. That is Censorship pure and simple and no matter how intelligent he is or Hitler was it should not be tolerated.

Now hey, I've been publically flogged on this forum for brining it up and revisiting the 'debacle' post and yada yada... But this is what the whole thing came down to ages ago during that ridiculous countdown - alright, expectation gets raised, some peeps sell out to prepare funds for the bigger and better, 3 to 4 week wait before the product goes live, and then not enough to go around.

I mean, seriously peeps, hats off!! That's killer.
