This whole thread is FULL of fail, Who cares? I don't know how many times, I've been on a manufacturers forum, some on this very board, and asked questions and NEVER got a response, or PM'd said owner of the company, and NEVER got a response, Big fucking deal, I found my answers elsewhere, it's the internet, it's a HUGE fucking place. I've read all these threads with people bitching, I can't get this, or I can't get that, or nobody will talk to me, pick up a fucking phone if it's THAT important, Hell I've seen people bitching cause they can't order an AFII, I had no problem whatsoever, but I went through someone I KNOW is a stand up, reputable person, even pm'd the person bitching and told them who to talk to about getting one, and is still throwing a tantrum online about it.

It's a product, by it if you like it, don't if you don't. WHO CARES what the people are like who build the damned thing, I shop at alot of places that if I stopped to talk to the management or owners, I'd probably hate them, but they have the products I want or need, so I go get it, and move on.

I've been snubbed by guys on here that get nothing but RAVE reviews about their customer service, it happens to EVERYONE. Get over it, I don't post threads about how I can't get this or that, or so & so wouldn't return my messages or reply to my thread. I look elsewhere for my answers, and if it's a product I truely think I will enjoy, I buy it.

I RARELY if EVER post on the Fractal forum, mainly because it's the digital version of TGP, and I can't stand Scott Petersons Nazi like handling of both of those forums. But does it stop me from looking for the information I need? NO, if I can't find it there, I'll look here, or ask someone I know here that might know the answer.

I have deleted that forum from my bookmarks. They didn't even answer me one time on a tech question, someone from THIS board read my post THERE and came to my aid.

Yeah I don't think I have had a question answered over there. Figured it out mostly by trial and error or google still haven't figured out a gcp and ultra the way I want it oh well guess I will just get the MFC101 and the AssfxII.

I only wander over there for update and sys files. It is way to all mightier than thou over there. I do like watching Ventura getting them wound up

As far as business....he should have had the units made and stock piled before he even let it out of the bag. Also a better ordering system and maybe a few more places to ship from. Kinda sounds like he is tight with money and only wants to spend the bare minimum he has to along with knowing if he keeps demands up he can keep the price up.

I'm sure there is a company out there that has a STD an ultra and will have a II on a bench to disect and come out with competition soon enough.

They should bring back the ADA factory and do a combination of the axe with a small preamp tube board like the MP-1 the ADA-Fx

How Things Work, Shipping, Etc.

Listen you bunch of indignant whiners:

We can only physically process so many orders a day. If we were to dump 100 units in the store they would undoubtedly sell out that same day. There is no way we could ship 100 units the next day. So then people would be bitching and moaning that their unit hasn't shipped yet.

So we put a certain number of units into the store each day that we know we can fulfill the following day.

Today those units sold out in 90 seconds which I found humorous but those with impaired funny bones took as an affront.

Tomorrow more units will be placed in the store. The next day we will again place units in the store and so on.

This is the way it works. If you don't like it or feel insulted by it or by what I have written then don't buy it.

A lot of you need to check your attitudes at the door. The amount of self-entitlement being displayed is absolutely revolting.

i think i'll stick with saving my money for a Fortin amp, I like the way Mike deals with people.

Funny, I met Cliff and Tom at last years amp show. I have had a Standard since right before the Ultra came out. I told both those guys that it was a great unit for recording but my experience was it just didnt cut it for live using a poweramp and 4x12. Both feel and sound in a band mix, playing old school metal. They didnt seem to too happy but I think they were more shocked at my honesty. Lots of questions on what cabs I was using, which poweramps..etc.. I just got the feeling they werent used to guys being that forward or not just giving them praise. I wasnt trying to be an ass at all, just giving him my honest opinion after being asked how I liked it. They saw me dial it in so its not like I didnt know my way around the thing either. Shame on both sides that people feel entitled and also that Cliff would have nothing but goodwill for the guys who are essentially putting food on his table. He should start reading the names of guys who post in dollar amounts and maybe his customer relation skills will improve..

I, frankly, don't have a problem at all with what Cliff said. A lot of whining c**ts out there regarding the whole Fractal thing.

No doubt, Fractal miffed the whole transition process, but the sheer volume of BUTHURT from the self-entitled few is ridiculous. I think Cliff is supremely frustrated and it shows. Sometimes, the truth hurts.....Cliff spoke it in his post, whether or not people what to hear it. Don't like it, don't buy it.

I don't get how he claims he can't ship 100 units in a day. With one person working a full 9-5 work schedule, that's roughly 6 packages every 30 minutes. With two people, it's cut in half. I used to work for one of the largest car detailing companies in the entire US, and we'd ship HUNDREDS of packages with just two people without a problem. That means grabbing the order, finding it on the shelf, making a box, packing the product, printing the shipping label and setting it aside for the UPS truck to come pick up at around 3 PM or whenever it was. If he's that desperate for staff, maybe he should consider hiring some people to help process orders for him...
