Same here, assholes kicked me out because I had twice as many kills as the entire opposing team
I can get my ass kicked every night in GoW for 2 months, but the lose once in Halo and kick me out.

You weren't kicked.
The majority are learning the game and getting our asses kicked within the the first 5 seconds of spawning by a 15 year old was a bit annoying.
If you were 'kicked' i would have removed you as a friend.

and btw, you played gears with us about 10 times.

Fun game, and Xbox Live is addicting.

Sadly, I'm not very good at video games.

I'm good enough to finish campaigns on my own on most games, but I get eaten alive on XBox Live.

I'm the same way with shooter games like Halo and Call Of Duty. There are so many people who just do nothing but play those games online. It's not even fun playing against people like that. I do pretty well playing Madden online though. I think I'm like 15-9 in ranked games.

Go into basic training mode. I can hold my own on there. Plus, i think half the battle is getting to know the maps and where the good guns first showup at.

I'm playing the game on heroic now and I'm getting through ok. There were a few rough spots were i got stuck. One area was the Crows Nest mission. Where you have to fight through a horde of brutes. And the one main brute has the big hammer. That took a while. I hate those damm snipers.

Yah man, unfortunatly in order to get better you just gotta jump in there and take your licks. Playing with some cool dudes who are better then you helps alot cause you can stick with them and watch what they do. Not playing with ppl who are better then you is useless.

It's like saying "Fuck my guitar teacher, he can sherd better then me! I ain't playing in front of him again. I'll just get lessons from some dude who is worse."

We all took our licks at getting owned on guitar by someone.....and 9 chances out of 10 we walked away better for it.

Kill that dude and grab his hammer thingy...good fun. Everything dies with one hit. I wish you could go through the whole game with that weapon.

That thing works good against the FLood. But that Brute is tough to kill on Heroic and Legendary. It's the part where you have kill at least 10 or 12 Brutes before he comes after you.

But, you can throw down one of the gravity lifts and just stay on it and go up and down. He can't attack you and you can keep shooting him.

On Normal, 1 plasma grenade kills him. Just run up to him and throw it so it sticks on him. I'd imagine 2 or 3 on Heroic would do the trick.
