I think I've tried my share of amps over the past few years, I think I'm going to start buying back the amps I liked previously over the next few years :D Who knows though, some other flavor of the month may come out

There are amps I would love to try (Meathead) but I just don't have the GAS anymore like I previously did.

I've been done for a long while...but thanks to gear-flippers, I have all my gear for much cheaper than new prices.

We're all done until we hear that next one that you have to have!

I had a revolving door amp, but those days are gone. There are amps and preamps I want to try like the Axe-FX and Mesa mark V, but that means giving up an amp. I can't decide which one should go, nor do I want to take a money hit in selling one, so they all stay. I am very happy with the stable of amps I have at the moment, same with guitars for the most part. Mainly due tweaks here and there....

What did you settle on out of curiosity?

I've been playing my Dual Rec for 5 years now. Hated it at first but I like it with KT-77's and a boost. It's great once you hear it with tubes that are biased where they should be. That said, I have the worst GAS ever!

I used to maintain a list of all the amps that I had owned over the past 20 years. It was insane considering most of them were owned over a 5 year period.

I've been done for the past 4 years. I feels good, but I do miss the adrenalin rush of waiting for a new amp and unpacking it, and plugging it in for the first time. Such a good feeling. Sorta like being with a new girl for the first time.

Anyway... I have a new amp that was supposed to arrive today. I guess I'm not completely cured. :D

Done 'flipping'.
The only amp I am adding is a custom Morris.

  never say never, but ahh yea, kindda done?

the economy has helped cure my flipping, just can't get in and out of stuff without jumping through hoops or losing your ass.

guess i've flipped enough that i'm not really chasing tone much anymore. got bad Fortin gas, but that's about it.

my original intent once i knew i was a gear whore, was to just buy one amp a year and just keep collecting them. but wasn't getting to try new stuff quick enough so started the flipping shit.

guess i'd like to have a Soldano?

ahh forget it!

I'm completely done flippin' amps!!!!

You know what's up Brother ;)

I love my SLOs, and if the Wizard is as good as advertised I'm done. My rig is gonna be a modded Fish, SLO and Wizard amp. Can't imagine needing anything else. Maybe a Goodsell for some killer cleans.

i'm done

the more amps i bought, the more i realised i can almost get 'my tone' out of any decent hi gain amp.
comes down to some minor differences, features and taste

i've gone through
- TSL100
- 5150
- Uberschall
- Various rack gear
- Rectos
- Engl Blackmore
- AxeFx

i've settled with an Engl Blackmore and Triple Recto, and axe-fx for some studio work

i've also used different amps live and no one has ever noticed the difference

hell no.

I still need PLENTY of preamps/poweramps/amps, etc

Past 6 years flipped 3 amps, 2 were mistakes and one I should have maintained.

No selling here, just buying.

yeah i tend to keep the amps i buy. i might go through stages where i don't like how it sounds but then one day i'll turn it on and think, man am i glad i didn't sell this amp.
