Aluminum chassis on this one which personally I dig. It shaves a few pounds off.

I've had mine for a couple of weeks now. Killer amp for sure. The Plexi channel alone is worth the price of admission. It's the best MV Plexi channel I've heard yet. It takes boost pedals very well too of you need a little more. The three way bright switch is really useful. The BE channel is the same as the BE100. Switching between the two channels is seamless.

I got mine slightly custom with an added footswitchable HBE boost on the BE channel and a purple headshell for that "vintage vibe"...

And it is a very boneriffic and stupendously jizztastic amp.

I prefer both a boosted BE and a boosted HBE... And the BE with no boost too

I got mine and couldn't be happier with the purchase. I've had a few BE-100's and this amp does what all those didn't. Of course, the BE-100 does things this amp won't either, but I was looking for a great Plexi channel with the modded Marshall channel. Got that in spades with this amp. Can it be modded to do more? Yes. But I like the simplicity. More playing, less messing with switches and what have you.

Dave hit a home run with this guy.

I wonder if the chassis is the same on a Marshall 1987. Be cool to get the vintage cosmetics of the old 50 watt Marshall Plexi on this like the BE-100 has.

I prefer the BE too, but no need for an OD pedal...the amp has plenty of gain on its own. That said I could see adding an OD if you needed to step outside of the "hot rod Marshall" box and get some more modern/extreme dirty tones.

I'm totaly excited about the small box "as is".

I know it will do things my BE100 won't and the main reason I bought it was for the plexi channel.

I would rather have the HBE mod I added to the BE channel and not need it than need it and not have it.

It is just a switch that you can just leave in the off position if it is not needed and still have the standard small box "magic vintage mojo"

Street is $2799.00

It is a plexi 50 watt style amp with a BE channel and overall it is supposed to kind of have it's "own thing" compared to a BE100 I hear.

I will hopefully be able to compare it to my BE100 in a few weeks or less.
