Ok, actually selling my Driftwood Mini Nightmare IR (w/built in load box!) this time 🙂 Loaded with Sovtek 5881 WXTs and will include the 6L6s it came with as well. Looking for $2,400 Shipped! No trades, I’m using the funds to payoff the drum kit I just purchased. If I’m ever the guitarist in a band again, I’ll buy one of these again.

…good lord, drums are expensive!

Will sell the Port City, but local only 🙂 (E. TN).

Truth!
I learned also, never let anyone use my cymbols
or my snare.
Bring your own or walk home boy.
Finding that mix of cymbols that work can be challenging and meatheads can easily crack them.
By playing drums 24/7 my guitar playing is on a completely 'other level.
Hard to explain.
The way I hear music has drastically changed also.
Much luck dude, fire in the f'n hole man!

Agreed! Got myself a set of HHX complex cymbals and a Starclassic walnut/birch kit with a DW Collectors black nickel over brass snare (essentially a BB). Killer! But also nearly $3,500!

So funny, I am same way. I like to be the only one who uses my own snare and cymbals.

Drum kits are crazy expensive but they are still pretty good deals used. As most people can't play loud all the time, they are usually in great shape. Even some of the more beater kits with bubbles in the wrap, when you take em apart and shine up the hardware, it still looks good and sounds good as long as shells aren't cracked. I have a Tama birch kit I picked up for 600$ and it sounds/sounded big. Since converted to electronic though. That too is money pit ...
