2014 Gibson Les Paul Historic R8, in a rare Sunrise Tea Burst VOS finish, with original Custombuckers, and all the 2014 features you know and love. This was made for Dave's Guitar Shop, and the top has some really nice flames that look nicer in person. The original owner I got it from said Dave's requested less "VOS goop", so it's not as dull as most VOS's I've seen. The neck is more '59 spec, measuring about .91 at the first fret, .98 at the 12th. Weighs about 8 1/2 pounds, with only minor fret wear, the usual binding bleed, and two minor dings to speak of. One is pointed out on the top near the neck pickup (tiny), and one is at the top of the neck by the 3rd fret - super hard to photograph, and not noticed when playing. Just pointing them out. Case is excellent, smells like vanilla in there! With all case candy, anniversary badge/rear 3-way cover, and COA book.
Pots have been replaced with CTS, the original owner changed pickups a few times before putting the original Custombuckers back in, and ruined the original pots.
Otherwise, only minor surface scratches that can be polished out - probably VOS "features". Neck is straight, and the action is nice and comfy! When you open the case you will think "WOW!" A really good guitar I will regret selling - probably.
