Up for sale are two bridge Motor City Pickups that I bought directly from Wade. Only the Hot Head was briefly installed, 3rd Degree is still as new. Lots of lead left on both (none was cut). For sale are the pickups only, no hardware.

I wish I could answer this with certainty. I had thought it was as you said, but when I read the resistance it was less than a 2nd. Been wanting to try it, but love my 2nds.
 
What is the Hot Head? Alnico? Ceramic? Any other pickups you can think of that it "sounds like"? Nothing on his website.
