Soldano SLO Pedal - Like the real thing?

The SLO pedal is very similar to the real deal. I am not sure how they do that.

The SLO pedal is great. Like Matt said, it’s very similar but a bit more aggressive and tighter than the real deal from what I remember. That’s how I would describe the Bogner Red pedal. I run it into my Ecstasy classic clean channel and it almost perfectly nails the tone, just tighter.

That could just be the voicing differences between the classic and the modes of the pedal.

That said I'm not sure why the delineation between the front & the loop? Different pedals just work better in different locations.

Besides, what defines a "pro" piece of gear? If it's that "regular gigging musicians use it" I'd be willing to bet the average price point is a lot lower than the average RTer kit cost. :ROFLMAO:
Some pedals are just designed to be run into the FX loop rather than into a clean channel. Like, I'm sure there is some pedals that fall into a gray area (like the Metal Zone), but a pedal meant to run into an FX is normally way brighter (which I'm sure is oversimplifying what it's actually doing electronically with the impedance and the output level) to the point where you can't really get them to work into a clean channel no matter how much you tweak. Likewise with the pedals designed to be run in front of an amp, just the other way around.

But honestly, you're right. I think it's just me just wanting to move away from anything that reminds me having to use a DS-1 into whatever shitty amp I started with, LOL.

Is it like the real deal SLO-100, nope but it is an awesome pedal that can sounds really really close and good. Of course, the amp platform used as something to do with it but I would used one easy.
