Can someone with an SLO tell me if the crunch mode is supposed to be noticeably louder than the clean mode? Just got mine today and can't tell if that's purposeful or not. Thanks.

Yes, it is. That's normal.

yeah there is a gain stage added so it is naturally quite a bit louder

No problem. There's some channel bleed from the crunch going into the overdrive channel also. The crunch channel's gain setting will effect the OD channel slightly.

Such an amazing amp, glad I finally got one. I know every complains about the loop, but it sounds just fine to me with a SDE 3000 (far better than my old Boogie 2cs).
