Some Metal Church is always good for the soul

Cause Im shakin
And Im thinkin
of something evil lurking
And waitin for me in the dark
THE DARKKK!

My friend Gary gave me a tape in like 1987 that he recorded and said it was Slayer. So I listened for a minute and said thats defintely not slayer. Found out it was Metal Church ' the dark' and the rest was history! One of the greatest metal albums of all time. Love it!!

They had so much good stuff. Many folks I know never listened to them and im like whaaaatttt???? Missing out bigtime!

I dug The Human Factor. Old stuff was killer too, of course - The Dark was a masterpiece, and the song Metal Church was on our setlist back when I was gigging doing 80's metal covers.

Always great memories of this band, haven't heard Badlands in a long time...!

John Marshall from the late 80s to 90s-era albums roadie'd for Metallica and filled-in for James several times over the years when Hetfield broke his wrist skateboarding (right up until the night of Cliff's death which was Hetfield's first night back playing guitar) and later with the pyro incident...dude is like 6'7 and one tall mofo

Mike Howe's son Elijah is an artist and did a really cool multi-media exhibit with a lot of his dad's photos. Highly recommended if you get a chance to see it

I was driving home from Guitar Center yesterday and their version of Deep Purple's "Highway Star" came on. Was a great version and fast!
