Some Pink Floyd improv and a question ...

So I told myself that going forward, I would make a point to improve on my audio recordings.

This is a start although nothing near what I want, but I could deal with it.

NOW..Its audio with some cool pics I found to go with it, but I want to sync it with me playing it on video.

I can cancel out the audio from the video through movie maker and then add the audio file from reaper that I recorded on top of it.

How do you sync both up? Must be some software for the two ?

Here is my improv over an "Echoes" style Floyd backing track. Simple raw imrprovising.
The first few notes I copied from Gilmour's lead from live at Pompeii, for the rest, like always, I through the ball and say a hail mary.

Someone told me Reaper can do video but I haven't been able to find it.

Really? I'll have to look into that. I've yet to see that option.

What video software are you using for editing?

I was just using the vid cam on the laptop.

I watched a tutorial on syncing audio/video in reaper. Pretty straight forward. Just drag the video file into reaper, sync both up with a point that you previously marked before music started.

I didn't know it was that easy. Will do next time for sure.
