Sometimes i hate to admit but Bonamassa is one of the greatest ive seen in my lifetime.

Listen man, slicking your hair back, wearing sunglasses indoors, and playing two notes per string pentatonics is really difficult and there's only one person on earth who can be the bonermaster, and that's me
 
Got me thinking about Jeff Healey. Real shame he passed so young.
White, blonde, mulleted Canuck, blind, playing overhand in his lap, with a rhythm section that looked they ran a pizza shop and would fight about the sauce…you know, you’re stereotypical blues trio, just laying down straight fire.

He's a great player. But he doesn't really bring anything new to the table. He's mostly an Eric Johnson guy.
Which is fine. I guess none of us can get away from our heroes.
 
He’s not my favorite song writer, but really is a standout live performer who brings out some really stellar musicians on tour.

I’ve seen him live a few times & it’s always been a great show.
