Sonic difference between the Friedman BE 50 deluxe and the BE 100

As stated. I want to get one or the other but besides YouTube videos I really don’t have a lot to go by. I tend to gravitate towards 100 watt amps.

Had both at the same time. I don't play clean, so didn't compare those. I loved both. Great master volumes, but I gave the edge to the 50 DLX. Love me some Thump & Response on the Friedmans.

It sucks for me cuz I have not played or heard either but I thought the 50 sounded better on Clips but I'm also listening to them on my phone I don't think you can go wrong

I recently got the BE 50 dlx and it is my dream amp. Aside from the wattage difference between the 100 and the 50, I think you need to decide if you want the sb clean or bb clean. For me the 50 has a warm, fender like voicing that felt like home so it an easy choice. I haven’t played the 100, but would think the be and hbe channels would be pretty similar to the 50.

I’ve found I can get the clean on the 100 to sound like the 50 but not vice versa. And the 100 clean takes OD‘s better

I meant BE100 deluxe . I seems like most folks I've talked to say the real difference actually in the clean channel side of things . I rarely play clean except for some quiet parts of classic rock songs .
