SPAM: Caparison Horus Custom "Maple Cloud"

I also have a question, those tuners, are they some hind of Caparison custom (too much custome being thown around here...) 2 and 4 set? Just curious.

They use them on most of their guitars. You might be able to buy them but I've never been able to find them for sale individually anywhere. You can order tuners in any config you want from places like All Parts though.

Expectations have a lot to do with buyer satisfaction and full disclosure is important for setting expectations otherwise an initially happy buyer could become very dissatisfied.

Apparently , you have to be a caparison conneseur to understand these things. If you havent owned and sold a bunch of them, you clearly wont understand. Maybe you dont need to disclose that kind of stuff for caparisons like you do with EVERY OTHER GUITAR UNDER THE SUN...

I don't even know why I posted it here. I know none of you guys have nearly as much interest (if any) in these guitars as a lot of other people, namely Caparison players/fans. For a fan of Caparisons this thing is a holy grail type guitar just because of the maple fretboard.

Not going to comment if I think this is shady. I think it's be covered ad nauseum here and my opinion really doesn't matter.

That said, whenever I post a SPAM on here or HCAF, I usualy put it a price to move....and also know that I am probably hooking someone up in the process. To me, there is a price for NOT having to deal with dildo's on EBAY.

But that's the difference between Mark's deals and the deals I do....Mark looks to make profit. Knowing this, I probably wouldn't make an offer on his gear. Its not personal....I just know I'm probably paying more than I could get it elsewhere.

Exactly, I think Mark is a good guy, but I wouldn`t buy anything from him (I`d be paying too much)

But taking it out on him is like hunting down everyone that tries to sell a MKIIc+

People ask ridiculous money for an amp that`s definitely nice, but no way in hell worth the amount of money some of them go for @ the bay.

Obviously the Caparisons (this being the first one that`s fairly modified) have been worth silly money to SOMEONE, and that`s more often than not the going rate for that excact guitar

My starting price is $2000. A standard Horus model from Guitar Asylum is almost the same exact price. It's definitely "overpriced" for most of you guys who don't like them, but it's nothing close to overpriced for people who do like them.

Puh-lease. You are clearly implying the guitar is "custom" from the factory when it is obviously not. Not to mention your constant misuse of the word "custom" and the misleading inclusion of "all paperwork."

I described exactly what it is. A Snow Cloud body with black hardware paired with a maple neck from another Horus. I don't see what your issue is with me including the paperwork for the guitar either. The warranty isn't valid, but I'd rather include the stuff with the guitar instead of just throwing it away.

You did not mention that you put the guitar together yourself, which you did. You did not mention that all of the paperwork is invalid, which it is. You're a lot of things, Mark, but completely retarded isn't generally one that I'd have used to describe you. You know 100% that everything in that auction implies that the guitar is a legitimate custom caparison FROM caparison, when it is not. We both know that you did that intentionally, too. End of story. Why you are clinging to your own version of reality on this I have no idea, because like you said, this guitar has limited appeal on this board. You like the bottom line, yes? Ok, so what are you going to get out of sticking to your guns on this as far as things go on this board? Nothing good I would think.

The only thing I put together was the neck on the body, screwing 4 bolts together that anyone could do. All of the wiring, hardware, finishing, fretwork, etc. was done by Caparison. Look at all the other Caparisons on Ebay, most of them also include all of the paperwork even if they're used. It's posted right on the Caparison website that the warranty is only valid if you buy the guitar new from the authorized dealer in your country. I've included the paperwork with basically every Caparison I've ever sold and nobody has ever had a problem with that before.
