I've bought a Horus Custom off Mark. Was all good. Marks a good bloke.
Was a highly customised instrument (although not by Mark, its prior owner Peter Joseph) and I wasnt aware how 'broken in' the instrument was and on that basis honestly I think I overpaid a bit, but I dont care because Mark was a top bloke to deal with and I love the instrument the way it is.

You bought a guitar from Mark, wasn't aware of how "broken in" it was (probably due to one of Mark's famous descriptions!), admit that you overpaid and yet still defend him? That's amazing!

But I'm glad you like the guitar, nonetheless.

I remember he (atomicjeff) used to come into threads over at HC about metal, death metal, grindcore music, etc and start calling everyone noobs and ripping everyone's opinion and calling anyone who likes this kind of music a 15 yr old and he did it repeatedly. I can respect anyone's opinion about music.....but when you can't respect or at least acknowledge someone else's, you're just a dildo. Always has been, always will be.....but that's just my opinion.

I'm just going to enjoy linking to this thread when one of the MegaMark Defense Team buys something on Ebay with a flaw/feature that 'any noob should know' but wasn't stated in the auction.

BTW, looks like the guitar came with a free pickholder, there's quite a gap between the end of the neck and the body... then again, I'm sure the original neck had that too, as Caparisons are built to such high tolerances. And can be assembled by anyone with a screwdriver!

As Digital Jams pointed out this is the main prob with people just swapping necks when they have *no* idea. "Minor adjustments." Right. I thought it was clear why this was a problem but if not...
