maybe Vai should get this color on some of his guitars, looks pretty bright greenish yellow - dig it

Guys I'm being a bit anal but should I drill out the holes for the pickup ring screws and such? Real worried if I screw them in without a little foreplay it will chip the paint? The original holes are there just not as open as they were.

If you redrill them out, I would "Reverse" Drill them a little so that when you drill forward it does not chip out. Drilling in the normal direction from the start will tend to lift the surface.

Looks great. I wanna see it all spiffed up with the hardware and strings though!

Drilling without chipout isn't as simple as it may seem. Ask the dude that painted it. My guess is it's fine to just install as-is, assuming the holes are big enough for the components to fit through.

Yeah the holes are there I am just being super anal as this thing looks so bad ass. I will try and do it tonight. I did email Marty who has been awesome through the whole process.

Here it is back together. Thing is just awesome. Almost puts the Custom Shop I just got to shame. Crappy Iphone pic.
