those are the SB 25s you're referring to..there's two small block speakers..the SB 25 is the newest one..and that's based on the greenie..just with higher wattage...

I played through all of scott's speakers (including the original small block as well as the big block) and the SB 25s were definetly my favorite....cuz I dig on greenie type speakers...

Yes, the SB25. Did you compare it to any of the Celestion versions, either the Reissue or Heritage? Does it have some give like a real Greenback or is it uber-tight for the brootish players?

I didn't A/B them at either of the conventions but I have a greenie reissue loaded splawn 4x12...they're warm like greenies, but allow for more low end if you want it...they're not stiff speakers....they're not farty either

these things are very subjective as you know...LOL....they're less subject to farting out on the low end than my greenie reissues....I know how to get rid of it now but I just have to dial it in alot differently than I would the SB 25s

this is a wet dry rig...the dry part is all SB 25s..the effects were running through a V 30 cab..I know it's not the BEST way to determine if you're going to like a speaker or not..but there's no 'brewtalz' here....at least it'll give you an idea...it's mostly lead wankery, but hey, it's not industrial metal, right? lol

Thanks for posting that. You're right, it is a bit difficult to tell what that speaker is doing on its own though.

yep..vids are always tough, even when they're completely dry..sometimes they're pretty close to what you're gonna get up close and personal, sometimes they tend to 'lie' a bit, just cause of cam placement, etc, etc...
