I purchased a QR a few months ago. What are the differences between the "OLD" and the "NEW" effects loops, and how do I know if I have the "NEW" one?

I had one of the newer loops and i still agree with my statement above.

There's a thickness to that gain tone that I like. The other clips don't sound like that...all in the way you mic it I guess.

The back is black. If you bought it new this yr then it is the latest revision. There is also a tad bit more gain too than the 2009 version. I think the effects loop is better than the '09 but not entirely sure that there was a change. I do know there was added gain and of course the back in black instead of plexi.
