How do they compare? Looks like BE has treble and bass control and SS has a middle as well.

Originally my BE100 came with Stock Clean, very good but I ended up having my amp converted to the SS100 clean, overall the modification was well worth it for me along a number things Dave has done really improved (for me) the tone that I was hearing. I've played the SS model, another great amp, slightly different clean & gain. BE is more old-school and modern Marshall like, the SS is a bit fuller depending on guitar (s).

SS100 is much more like a Fender Twin. It is a beautiful tone, that sounds good through Celestions (so something extra must be going on).
