What exactly don't you like about his high gainers bro? to me the tones that come out of an Ultra Lead or Deliverance are top of the line...

What exactly don't you like about his high gainers bro? to me the tones that come out of an Ultra Lead or Deliverance are top of the line...
Most of the complaints about VHT's high gain voicing revolve around a generally dry tone (lots of gain but little saturation) and upfront honky mids that are far removed from the more familiar Marshall sweet sounding midrange character. Yeah they're pretty tight and cutting but the high gain tones don't sound particularly pleasing IMO.
I do like the clean and lower gain side of VHT amps but thats it.
