Its been a few weeks now and it still surprises me all the time. Extended lows and highs...so clear...tight...way more than enough gain...changes character with minor tweaks...my settings today. :D

Love Wizard. Now if hey could get their service paradigm in order, it would be a fantastic company.
Service? Cranking amps out faster or repair?

What version is this? Recent MCII? 50 or 100w?

LOVE all the clips I hear. I play in rock cover bands and wonder if it can get to Alice in Chains or Tool gain tones?

Thanks!

I have a Wizard being delivered today.

But unfortunately it's not the amp yet - it's the cab. I'm only about 2 weeks in on my amp order.

Dealing with Rick has been pretty easy, so I'm not sure where the service concerns are coming from.

Still waiting for my cab...hopefully next month

Great! I'm loving my very recently acquired MCI as well...stellar amp. One of the best things for me is I can get very, very close to the cranked Plexi tones of my Metropoulos 12,000 but without having to crank the thing to unacceptable deafening volumes or using attenuators. Still has to be loud though lol.

100 watt, C transformer but no loop! Don't feel like I need the MCII as this thing does what I need perfect (except the loop lol)

congrats, bet you're pumped! that MTL will kill
I still need to try his cabs

I'll look at it, and probably play it a bit. Send it on by. ;)

If there's nothing wrong with it but you just want it looked at you should have given it to Dave. No need for anyone to know. Too late now.
Pointing out what you perceive as a problem when there really is no problem has turned into a problem.

They're should be qualified tech's that are allowed to work in the amp.

I wanted to get it looked at and that meant a trip to Canada. Fuck that.

Friedman is more than qualified. But for whatever reason he is not "approved" to look at the amp

That's a problem for me.
I don't want to send the amp to Canada.

It's fine, and nothing's wrong with it. I just wanted it looked at.

Yeah, doesn't make sense for you to ship the amp back to Canada. Specially having someone as Friedman nearby to work on it if needed.

However, why not just send it to Friedman anyway? What do you mean he is not "approved"?

You paid for that amp. That means its up to you to decide. You can do whatever you want with it!

In defense of Wizard, your amp appears to be working ok, right? He doesn't really need to work on his service paradigm. The amp doesn't need service. If it did and he is willing to work on it its not so bad to ship it to Canada. Probably gonna cost the same than shipping it to the East Coast.
