I grew up near a pig farm. I watched them shoot it in the head with a .22, burn off all of its hair and gut it. Took them like 10 minutes. Was crazy. They sold a lot of pigs.
 
I bought a case of 5th Avenue bars today. No home should be with them.
 
I have nowhere to put this shit. I'm full....half a beef, 100 pounds of sausage, now half a hog...fuck. guess I will get a small chest freezer. Mom said cook the sausage in jars, turn them upside down after lidding and the grease seals them(or something like that), said that's how my grandmother and great grandmother did it. Kept good for a long time. Problem is the pound of sausage I cooked had almost no grease.
