Let’s say you’re out of town for a couple weeks at a time. Or you just wanna lock your shit up for any reason. Teenagers have friends over, nosy in-laws, the crackhead next-door that stops in for free food…

where do you store your guitars that are hard to replace or have sentimental value?

I am eye eyeballing one of these figuring I can hide it in a basement wall, carry it in sections and take it with me when I move to a better state:

Not sure what these cost but you can lock them in their cases. Also, I'd take a look at flight cases as I imagine they lock for artist who tour the world and you can then take them with you if you move

there's a guy around here who basically takes a small room, or part of your house and makes it a safe room for around the same price as one of those safes. You just have to furnish a "safe" door. Always thought that was the way to go.

At that point you could put a safe door on a basement. Hmm

edited to say that my son commented he could just go through the pantry wall after knocking the shelves out

He does walls and ceiling and floors. You could get in but you are going to work at it.
