It read the opposite to me since it said you could just plug in without mentioning cab sims. But it didn't specify that it was a compensated line out or what kind of speaker it might be modeling, so it'sejecta":3ftzuoz8 said:It read to me like it was designed for using cab sims in a DAW.

But you can't just "plug into you DAW" for recording if it isn't compensated. Well, you could, but it'd sound like shit. It seemed to suggest you could just plug in and ready to go.ejecta":wbnnmqlm said:![]()
Funny how people can read the same thing and come to different conclusions. I took the not mentioning of a cab sim on the line out itself as there wasn't one so you use one in the DAW. So yeah.....

"No speaker sim. I remember John asking my opinion on wether they should incorporate one, and I thought, nah. So many great simple ways to use IR's and whatnot these days, there's better ways to do speaker sims than just a "speaker simulated line out". Better to buy the redwirez R2 plugin for like 49 bucks, or the Torpedo one, and then mix and match IR's to your hearts content in your daw."

Sweet. Hopefully someone will do a direct demo. Seems a pretty nice little amp.R.D.":27sbmp9a said:ejecta's correct ....
