there is a clip on their web page, it sounds great, although i m not convinced that this baby can handle higher gain situations
 
That's pretty cool. Is the line out compensated to sound like a speaker or the amp signal for DAW cab sims?

It read to me like it was designed for using cab sims in a DAW.

It read the opposite to me since it said you could just plug in without mentioning cab sims. But it didn't specify that it was a compensated line out or what kind of speaker it might be modeling, so it's :dunno:

:lol: :LOL: Funny how people can read the same thing and come to different conclusions. I took the not mentioning of a cab sim on the line out itself as there wasn't one so you use one in the DAW. So yeah..... :confused:

But you can't just "plug into you DAW" for recording if it isn't compensated. Well, you could, but it'd sound like shit. It seemed to suggest you could just plug in and ready to go.

It'd be even cooler with both. :thumbsup:

Well at least I can say I was right at least once in my life. :lol: :LOL: I'll bookmark this so I can show my wife I'm not always wrong. :D

I agree with Pete's thinking... using them in the DAW is a better idea in that it wouldn't tie you in to just the cab sim on the line out and there are some decent options for cab sims for not much scratch. That said Rogue's idea of having the choice of both would be even cooler.

Sweet. Hopefully someone will do a direct demo. Seems a pretty nice little amp.
 
This is interesting for sure. But what is so different about this than just cranking one of my Marshalls, setting the Hot Plate to Load and recording direct into my DAW and using an IR?

You don't need a Hot Plate :confused: :lol: :LOL:
