i've said it before but john suhr is as close to a modern leo fender as it gets

i really appreciate all the passion he puts into his company, and the way he tries to and successfully mythbusts intangible elements of guitar and amp making, punching "mojo" in the face, and putting superstition it in a more scientific perspective. from pickups to amps to pedals to his experience and intimate knowledge of guitar building---the alchemy of all he does makes everything he does better.
