+1 on everything the Hoff said. I bought the CM-50 he had at the show myself!
My "dream plexi Marshall" specs, as pre-cogged by Jerry,....
Huge clean, check
Dirt, scream channels, check.
JTM/800 switch, check
Pull boost, pull bright channel, check
Resonance, slope, check...
Two tone stacks, three volumes...... get outa my head! Haha.....

Like Hoff said too
. Stand up guy, beautiful build.

Just got the Mic. Clippies soon.

are all three channels footswitchable then?

Yes!
Clean has a pull "hot" as all....
Oh, and hard bypass for the loop...
Additional level out back for the lead channel so you can crank the front....
Ridiculous feature set...

Ok cool, it sounds like either would work well as they both cover the clean to metal thing well now for some funds........

Jerry I love that clip of Darren playing it. Sounds stellar.

thanks james thats the classic modern. and Ryan has the difference between the two pretty much down. classic modern is more modern sounding BUT retains the classic vibe. The Atomica has three footswitchable modes. the classic modern has tow but also a solo master like a boogi. .....??/ just slight changes. technically, Atomica cathode follower tone stack Classic Modern plate driven tone net.

Jerry - emailing you about this...
You won't regret it

Also, a quick update:
Spent some time running pedals through it-definitely one of those amps that take them well, just another great feature

So my current amp quiver looks like this:

Friedman modded Metro Plexi w/BE, C45, SAT, Simple Clean & Metro Loop
Splawn Competition
Mesa Mark IV rack mount head

Does the Atomica have a place in this quiver? Am I covering any new/different sound? I'd likely sell the MK 4 to make space I think, but I really like that amp too. I'm also pretty intrigued by the "Old Bitch" project... Any thoughts on all this? I don't play out, so dropping the coin on the Cameron is a pretty big stretch for me at ANY time, but I really dig that tone too, and I don't think the Friedman really gets into that territory - it's a pretty smooth amp, where the Comp is more aggressive.

thanks Ryan email sent to chris. I would customize it to what you need.. The classic Modern with a negative feedback removal switch for more aggression and boogie like.

Update as well...(I know I'm lagging on clips....; x

First band practice with the CM, loved it!
Finallly got to crank it a bit, stellar Marshall roar!
Huge crunch rythm, dialed in a louder boogie liquid lead, thanks the the lead channel volume, and lead master out back. Badass. Bass player is always yammerin about his 50 wt 68 superlead... loved this amp.
Whisky here we come!

(Gig spam Nov 23rd...: )

Nice to see Jerry getting some recognition. You are a trooper dude...and that Atomica amp sounds pretty damn good.

But, yeah....got to lose that fish though. Put it inside the chassis.

There will be a lot of overlap simply because the Atomica does so much. Honestly, with a decent pedalboard, I have every tone I could possibly want. I really think I found my GAS antidote. I still want to try things out "just because" but I really think my "search" is complete.

Steve

It's very subtle on the new logo... tail of the S. No one Could tell what I was talking about, had to point right at it, lol...

If you buy an amp and request the "Agnostic Mod" I can shave part of the S for you.

You guys could put together some clips

I'd love to hear the CM!!

Diegos was one of the first 50 watters and is a bit of a hybrid. it has dual Joses with clippers on the push pulls but the crunch does follow a 100 watt Jose schem. Then the lead adds a tube and the clean is a hot rodded AC30 Top Boost so its closer to the atomica really than the classic modern. Even though it says CM50 .. Imjust now locking into set models and the permanent circuits.
