Ive been working on this a while now. Its a very warm very tube like booster. Down low it has a Range Master trebel boost effect. In the 1200 position its a warm tubey overdrive. Maxed out it has a nice attitude similar to a really nice fuzz face.

The cool things is if I keep it simple (no paint etc) I can do this for like $65 shipped anywhere in the states.

Ill see if I can get chubtone or steve do do a quick video for me. My Vado thing doesnt cut it.

JFET... plus 4 resistors and 2 caps. its a simple design modeled after several cool pedals. I wanted to keep it very simple to keep the price cheap. Its a great clean boost too. ran it like that last night.

Ah gotcha. JFETs are great little devices. Especially cascaded There are a large number of tube preamp simulators that are done with JFETs emulating triodes.

as far as simple boosts go, I think the trick is keeping it minimal. All this BS about 200 boost pedals. My amps do all that dont need a pedal at all. The guys at my church are pedal guys so I did this for that really.

Jerry i need a phaser/vibe pedal with a mix control in the smallest box you can fit it in, I also need a chorus pedal with a mix control! when I say small box i mean the size of the EVH phaser pedals...9v jack powered...

this is really hard I recommend BYOC and try to stuff it in a smaller box.

Gonna get one to demo for Jerry! I love unique and obscure pedals. It's so cool to have a board full of boxes that make people say "wtf is that?" Then if it sounds good it becomes the new must-have pedal!
