All I can say is that the new album better be awesome or it could spell the end IMO...

True but Ed hasnt made one since OU812 IMHO... so I don't know.

I really hope Eddie was just fucking with Sammy and isn't crazy... injecting his own tongue and drilling himself with the doctors....
 
Sammy Hagar may be a good singer and a great guy...but he's still a douche. Long live Diamond Dave :rock:
 
didn't eddie say he got cancer from metal picks in his mouth and the magnetic field of his recording gear, not smoking??

I heard him say that on the Stern show and he also said that he was working with a doctor(s) to develop a cure for cancer as well. It couldn't possibly have been from the smoking and drinking (which is the number one cause of head/neck cancers).

Friend, it's over. I was in denial for years and spent so much wasted time for years visiting that stupid VH forum waiting for some grand announcement only to be disappointed time and time again. I want to be optimistic, but they've been dormant for 10+ years except for two "reunion tours" and he was fried for 1 1/2 of those tours. At best they'll do the Rolling Stones' "every 5-7 years tour of the hits" thing.

If anyone is expecting this album to be on par with the VH/DLR 6-pack, that's cool, but it ain't gonna happen.
One step above VHIII is probably gonna be accurate...and I freaking love VH.

I have not heard a good tone from Eddie since "Humans Being." I really hope I am wrong, as I would love to see them back on top, and I
will be the first one to admit it if I am.
 
^ unfortunately thats my expectations, but never know it could be a pleasant surprise. I have to say though I saw them on the last tour with DLR and the band sounded awesome, at least they can still do the old songs really well.
 
Well, if Ed ever considered working with Sammy again, this book will probably stop that. Eddie's gonna be pissed. In reality Ed owes Sammy an apology for acting that way, but this book will probably erase any thought Ed would have had of burying the hatchet. I mean it's really just rehashing a bunch of stuff that alot of us were pretty aware of. I knew Ed was drunk the whole 2004 tour. And we all know there was arguing among the band, that's why Sam and Mike aren't in it now. So this is just broadcasting it out there to everybody and it's not gonna solve anything. If Ed still makes peace with Sammy after this I would give him much props.
