Master Dave, Since there is yet to be a Synergy Amps manufacturers forum, and you would be the closest to the project here, I would like to ask a few questions if you are at liberty to speak.

I know the Synergy Modules use Royal Mustard caps, what about the chassis SYN1, SYN2 (and possibly the amps)? They look like wima polypropylene. Can you confirm?

Reason I'm asking is, I wan't to update my RM100 to jive well with the Syn Modules.

Also the input cathode configuration, I get it that the syn chassis switch between 2.7k/0.68uf, 1.8k/1uf, and 1.5k/22uf, and I get the modules have a 3 way switch. What pins on the backplane sense this switch?

Syn 1 and 2 don't have Synergy. Heads coming do wherever possible. I'm not totally sure on the pins I would have check..
