Great stuff!!!

I'm diggin' it. I liked the solo. "controlled" use of the whammy and articulate tone. Sounds like he is trying to play with less gain these days. Overall I liked the song a lot better then 90% of the other new stuff I'm hearing these days

Agree Lynch is sounding better here, he may no longer be a relevant cutting edge player but he was too big a hero in his prime for some of us not to get interested about something like this.

As for newer music in general, I really love it all. But when I want to kind of hear "new" old school, here are a few of my favorites covering a few different styles (and check out the solo at 2:24 on this first one):

HAVOK kicks ass!! I am a huge old school thrash fan and this is some great stuff.

Here is also some old school rock/metal vibe from the master of the voice Jorn!!

Loved the song and the solo, wish Sweet would have worked out as well, that would have been quite cool!!! Thanks for posting I had not heard of this effort. Going to buy in just a bit!!

That is 90's, not 80's. I'm not a Lynch disciple but I actually enjoyed the T&N tune a lot more than this. It seemed very generic 90's to me. Really couldn't stand most white male singers back then.

I dug that Crazy Lixx! Great stuff.

That Jorn can sing his balls off as well. Has some nice Coverdale elements to his voice. Soul and power.

My vote goes to the solo in that Furyon. Totally kills the one in the first clip which was just meh for me. Diff strokes for diff folks!

No, but Pilson and George know him and is is available.

T&N is Lynch, Pilson and Tichy. All the original songs on that album are them. Tichy actually suggested they bring in Mick Brown to track the Drums on the Dokken re-makes.

So Mick is only on the Dokken songs.

But the touring band will be Lynch, Pilson, Tichy, and Sweet
Well that is damn cool. I dig the song. it will sound killer with Sweet.

Move over lynch !
Good Lord!!! It's like Disturbed and Bullet For My Valentine had a baby and neither parent wanted it. Terrible stuff.

You realize this was a Lynch appreciation thread basically, not a "Who knows the most unknown bands" thread.

I'll give you props for Hardline, that is some killer stuff and Iron Mask is awesome. Jeff Scott Soto is and has always been an aces singer.

Furyon is like the metal Nickleback.

Agreed , Hardline is almost like a here and now Journey with smokin guitar and a weird looking bass player but i liked it. Awesome voice on that dude.

LOL @ Furyon being a metal Nickleback..... but with guitar solos and good vocals.

I would rather listen to any of the videos you guys posted, then listen to the mainstream crap of today. Dated or not..as long as theres a interesting riff and or tastful solo.. King Diamond, Metal Church, Jorn, Helloween, Armoured Saint, Racer -X, TNT, Judas Priest etc etc...of that era. Blue Murder and Badlands are a few of my favorites from that era..great raw, nothing fancy tone of Jake and the legend vocals of Ray Gillian. Or the melodic massive vibrato of Sykes. I would also rather watch Yngwie (Shred Elvis) eating donuts and playing E-Minor arpeggios for an hour straight, then watch a reality tv show. Oh yeah Kurt Cobain sucked!! Is Jack White, Kurt Cobain in a happier place? If I wanna listen to Blue's..Why would I listen to John Mayer play blues for fat chicks, when I could listen to Bonamassa who's mastered the blues...hmm
