Agreed , Hardline is almost like a here and now Journey with smokin guitar and a weird looking bass player but i liked it. Awesome voice on that dude.

LOL @ Furyon being a metal Nickleback..... but with guitar solos and good vocals.
the vocals and cheesyness are what made me make the Nickleback comparison actually. It's like they were a metal band that didn't cut it and hired a good producer to "get them there"

you guys are hanging on to george lynch just like george lynch is trying desperatly to hang on by himself... the rope is gonnnnnaaa break!

I don't know about all that. I haven't had many nice things to say about the guy's recorded work since the second Lynch Mob album, and I even walked out of one of his live shows in '05...his playing, tone, and even his demeanor were all awful. To me, this tune sounds like he's recaptured a bit of what I liked about him back in the day...I'm not sure why anybody would hate on him for that?

I was a lynch fan back in dokken days... A buddy n I met him in Ithaca Ny with lynch mob back in 2000 he was an arrogant fucking prick...Ended my lynch fanbase for me! remember fkrs your nothing wo fans!

No doubt...a similar situation soured me on Vernon Reid, but I thought he sucked anyway so no big loss.
I met Lynch at a post-gig Lynch Mob party back in '91 and he couldn't have been any cooler...it probably just depends on when you meet somebody and how their day is going as to how they come off.

Slave to the Empire is a solid release and I am still a fan of Lynch, but he has lost it over the years. Sounds great live though!! Here is another great band with Jeff Scott Soto. Excellent song writing and music/vocals!!! The album Journey should of made after Frontiers!!!

I dug that Crazy Lixx! Great stuff.

That Jorn can sing his balls off as well. Has some nice Coverdale elements to his voice. Soul and power.

Don't get me wrong. I grew up in 80s w all that I loved it all. Leaned more to thrash. Testament maiden priest megadeth... But c'mon already wanna hear great 80 s style riffage listen to Furyon ... You will enjoy that band ! N it's fresh !

That is 90's, not 80's. I'm not a Lynch disciple but I actually enjoyed the T&N tune a lot more than this. It seemed very generic 90's to me. Really couldn't stand most white male singers back then.

My vote goes to the solo in that Furyon. Totally kills the one in the first clip which was just meh for me. Diff strokes for diff folks!

Yeah Jorn has can do Coverdale and Dio but has his own voice. the stuff he did with Beyond Twilight and Ark kick ass!!

I'm a Lynch fanboi, but I did not like it at all. It's miles away song and solo wise from this one.
