T75s in a Rectifier Cab?

I think I want to try it. I have a pair of 8 ohm T75s laying around, and I might acquire another pair.

Anyone ever load T75s in a Mesa Recto 4x12?

I prefer 85’s and 75’s with my mesa’s, I don’t have a recto cab though

Mine is the straight cab with the slant baffle. When my buddy had it, he had GBs in it. I had a Traditional Mesa cab with GBs at one point too. Much preferred the GBs in the trad cab. I think T75s would sound good in an oversized cab.

there's two 75's in there 8 Ohm mixed with two Black Shadows ............ I love my Mark series amps through stock Marshall cabs .... so it made sense to me ..... sounds pretty dam good to me

I’ve grown to prefer both Marks and Rectos through Marshall type cabs. They sound more open, alive and aggressive, no doubt being 16 ohm contributing to that.
I rolled with a couple Mesa Trad 4x12’s for a couple years, killer cabs no doubt, but much darker and more compressed. Different flavors, both great.

I have a Mesa over sized cab with the T75 cousin the K85. K85 bottom / Vintage 30 top.

It's a very in your face sound this cab. Brighter Vintage 30.

I'm sure T75 would sound good.

You guys are going to make me go back to Marshall V30/T75. I've been doing the Marshall V30/P50E blend for a while. Maybe I should just get a 3rd 4x12!

It never ends!
