I never said they were golden years. However, while prices briefly spiked during his admin, they were back down very low by 2016.
AND, there has never been as direct and obvious a link between a President's action (start a stupid and unnecessary war with Iran) and a consequence (massive spike in oil and therefore fuel prices).
