and at this point the fractions or degrees of change are getting much smaller and so personal i doubt anyone else would care. but i hear and feel it.

I only started using an actual pedalboard in like 03 after too many times tossing them in a bag and having them get dinged up, settings changed, patch cables fail or missing, or knobs falling off
But all that wire medically cut to length with no wiggle room

not my cup o tea!

speaking of which now i have to get the new badgerplex AC since barzini said so....

thank you kind sir----the rivera rm-1 really helped facilitate a bunch of things with this rig--pedal combinations and switching out flimsy arion tone sucker when not in use, midi control of gforce, power to pedals, channel switching my amp, silent tuner out.....

yet it is insane that as i look at the pic of my rig i'm already changing things again in my head:

-the flashback is a high quality compact delay, but i like the sound of the tape emulation and the tap tempo in the el cap more and that is what i want from a stand alone delay.

-the ac adapter cables to the flashback and wah are a mess, so i can implement my vht valvulator to streamline that cable run

-i may turn the volume pedal into a control pedal for the gforce so it can serve multiple functions as patches change

-i'd love an enhancer head bracket to mount my amp above my cabinet reducing stage footprint

I relate Mentoneman to the Japanese guy in the old Nissan commercial going through the barn of historic Nissan cars with a young kid................painting pictures with words of wisedom so thick you can push them away with your hands.

One day when you walk into the guitar hero portion of the R&RHOF you will here Pat waxing poetic of holy trinity rack gear, old marshalls, and charvels while breathing in cheap perfume and stale beer.

It will be beautiful.

Beautiful...tone is only attainable with a low volume Axe or a floored PM thru 2 4x12's! Tomorrow I will commence with my 100 watt Superlead dimed thru 1 4x12 and see if I can get the dryer to get hot! Enjoy your holiday weekend and if you see a veteran stop them and thank them! Look them in the eyes and tell them!

yeah i can definitely imagine the idea of el cap and plexitone being swapped with an axe II !

i'll see how the new one sounds and go from there-the echoplex in the axe ultra was wicked but the drive and comp boxes weren't as impressive attack-wise, but the few clips i heard so far of axe II amps tell me they have upped the ante.

maybe if we ask nicely mark will throw down some ac/dc, cry of love, and VH clips on the II


but for now i'm keeping it real!

i try to not like barca but they are just soooooooooooo good!

when barca played la galaxy at the rose bowl a few years ago i took my boy, and it was such a once in a lifetime memory...93,000 in attendance broke the largest attended soccer game in us history, messi, xavi, iniesta, henry,... ibrahimovich had just joined the team, my and hero PUYOL..as he was leaving the field pre-game.... i yelled him name as loud as i could, over the roar of the crowd, and he stopped and looked dead at me and waved...

i can take that one to the grave with me!

oh and beckham scored on a sick bending direct kick too that day!

short clean tone clip from this weekend

before tearing down my live setup from this weekend, i added a 2nd wet speaker for a w/d/w rig, but didn't really tweak my w/d gforce settings so not PERFECTLY balanced stereo tone but still decently higher quality audio merged with iphone video picture--sounds better than it looks!

also sort of an interesting stage POV of what i see week after week, minus lights and people
