I felt the need to express how pleased I am with the customer service provided by Sweetwater. I ordered a demo model of the Schecter KM-6 at very reasonable (haggled) price. The guitar arrived with 10-46 strings on it. Certainly wasn't conducive for Drop C tuning IMO. I restrung the guitar with 11-54's. I really liked everything about the guitar. I just couldn't get it to setup right. It needed some fret/nut work and I couldnt get the intonation correct. I made a call to return the guitar. The sent me to the tech support. I explained my issues and my setup process. He agreed that there needed to be some work done on the guitar. Their solution. To send me a brand new guitar and have it setup by their techs. Using my string of choice (D'addario NYXL 11-56) Plekking the frets etc... The guitar showed up yesterday .... it smokes ! Super stoked with it. They even threw in an extra pack of strings. This is how you treat customers. They have certainly earned all of my retail purchases. Just wanted to share.
