TC Electronics G-Force Update PCM Card

Does anybody know how to update TC Electronics G-Force firmware from version 1.05?

Anybody have the PCM card to do it? Looks like Behringer TC no longer supports updating the unit. Fair enough, unit is pretty old.

They used to send you the card and you’d send it back. Curious if anybody has any ideas.

Pure update cards are very hard to come by. I almost never see them. Those artist cards, called the G Card, should have the latest firmware update on them from what I recall, though. I don't think you can get the .wiz file from TC anymore since Behringer bought them out and gutted them. Even if you could, I think you need to use one of their devices like an M5000 to even write the .wiz file to the PCMCIA card, as normal PCMCIA readers and writers won't work due to TC's proprietary formatting.

That is great info, thank you! It appears that looking out for an artist card is my best bet. There’s one on EBay for $250 .

I have one if you're interested. Looking at the manual, it looks like it could have anything from 1.13 to 2.04 on it. But my personal unit is 2.04, and I just did the PCMCIA flashing procedure. Still reporting 2.04 when powering on.
