Tele pickup recommendations

So years ago I had a trade for this model of Tele (Tlg-94) and it fell through. I've been wanting one ever since and have had about 5 other teles that just didn't cut it. Theres something about the neck on this one thats just perfect. I finally found one for about $800 and pulled the trigger. I have no idea what the neck pickup is, but the bridge is a duncan hot stack. I've read that the vintage stack is a good match, but I can't find a gold one and I'd rather they match. Any recommendations for a neck pickup that would pair well? I'll also take recommendations for a whole new set that will do the rock thing well. Im playing this through an Evh 5150 50 watter

I've got a set of BKP Blackguard Flat '50s that I really enjoy. Sounds like a Tele, but still does the rock thing really well. They replaced a set of Lollars. I think they were the Tele 52s, but I don't remember. Those were really good, too, but just a little polite to me. I've got another Tele with '80s EMG Tele pups that sound surprisingly (to me) good, too.

If you want really thick and aggressive rock tele sounds check out the BKP Piledriver.

Tele tones but crazy high output.

I tried the tele emg pickups and they were pretty great. I've been thing about those in this one. It seems like the BareKnuckle pickups are pretty good in a tele. Ill look into the flat 50s. Thanks man

Had a friend who had a set of those Fralin Steel Poles that sounded great. For my taste, they were a little too far from Tele, more like a P90. I've got a P90 guitar, so I wanted my Tele to be more Tele. Other than that, they were great pickups!

The answers depend heavily on what you are shooting for. If you still want to retain some tele cut, but with some serious attitude, a broadcaster-style tele set is the shit. If you're not familiar, a broadcaster tele bridge pickup is typically wound in the 11-12k range. There are some good ones to choose from. I had Chris at K-line make me a broadcaster set with a 5% overwound neck, and they are absolutely phenomenal pickups. If a Les Paul had a crazy, bar-fighting redneck cousin, that's basically what a good broadcaster pickup is.

I like the idea of the guitar maintaining some tele brightness. I'll check out the broadcaster and K-Line pickups. The real question is who wouldn't want a redneck bar fightin cousin of a les paul in their stable?
