Jammed the Einstein again today. Beautiful, beautiful amp. I can't flip forever, so maybe I could make this rig more portable by offing the 4x12 for a smaller cab.

How's the Orange 2x12? Or maybe the Bogner cube? Although I expect that could sound pretty boxy compared to what I'm used to, in spite of how un-boxy it's supposed to be?

The Orange 2x12 is a great cab, but still damned heavy. Built like a tank.

Oh yeah, there's also the Diezel cab, which sure makes a cool looking rig with the Einstein.

They do look great...

Currently using my Einstein with a Bogner OS 2x12, sounds great! The handle is kind of big on top of the Cab so the Einstein needs something to lift it up a bit or else it will float, I'll probably remove the handle for the time being. :)

The Orange 2x12 sounds great. I don't have any other 2x12's to compare it to though - I bought it to match my orange amp at the time. It's crazy heavy though. If you're looking for portable, I'd stay away from the Orange because of the weight. Didn't you have a Mesa 2x12 for a bit?

Yes, I did.

Now you're talking!

PS - Why not the Bogner OS 2x12" cab? I know, I know. It's not much smaller than the 4x12" cab. But as I said before, it's lighter and much easier to move around. The tone is killer too.

I carry mine all the time and it isn't all that heavy. It came with casters as well.

You probably want casters or a flight case bottom, since portability is your thing. (Plus, then you can load your head/other stuff on top and roll everything around)

I have an Egnater MOD series 1x12 cabinet that I like a lot, it's over-sized (25"w x 22.75"h x 12"d) but pretty lightweight since there is only one speaker. I haven't weighed it but I would guess it's about 35 pounds, very reasonable.
