Just got done test driving a US proto Tyleriax.
My quick first glance opinion...
Looks like Tyler's take on a les Paul/Tele/JG thing...actually loos pretty awesome. Scraped binding, manly neck...plays like a Tyler...doh.
Plugged it in and tried it's a bitchen guitar...like I said a Tyler.
Took some of the models for a test drive, the total stand outs to me where the Gretsch and Tele, especially tuned to bari. The Lester was cool, especially when going back and forth with the regular pick-ups.
The Special with drop D for Modern Country stuff was way hip...I'm impressed.
I still have a Variax 700 acoustic and when ever I switch to ny open tuning the latency kills it for me. Not so on this one...
More later...
