Listen to the full cover below:

Edit Part III: I tweaked the mix....I think it sounds better ?
Check it out below.

EDIT Part II: Singer sent me the vocals. I added them to the mix and tweaked the mix to make room for the vocals.

============================

EDIT:
Our bass player stopped by today....I added his bass track to the mix.
I also tweaked the mix and used a JVM 410 410 instead of the original ENGL Fireball Profile

Bass was recorded direct using a EzMix 2 bass tone.

============================

Recorded this yesterday at my house:

Guitars: Jackson SL2H > Kemper > Pro Tools
Drums: electronic kit > Superior Drummer 2 > Metal Machine EZX

ENGL Fireball Profile on the right and a Diezel Hagen profile on the left.
Bass, Vocal/Backing Vocal tracks will be added later.

My Testament Tribute Band, Lost Souls is gigging now (finally). We had our first gig last weekend.

We played a nice set:
Rise Up
More Than Meets The Eye
Over The Wall
Burnt Offerings
The New Order
The Haunting
Trial By Fire
Into The Pit
The Preacher
Practice What You Preach
Souls of Black
Disciples of the Watch

I used my Kemper as a pre amp with a Sin Mix Uberschall profile into the effects return of my Mesa MultiWatt Triple Rectifier and out to my Mesa Horizontal 2x12.....it felt and sounded good on stage. After our set I received several compliments on the tone :rock: It was good to gig again. I hadn't gigged since '06.

great playing as usual.
sounds like some phase issues with the guitars.

Thanks. How do I fix phase issue? Do I have to re-record it to fix?

I was RWI (Recording While Intoxicated) last night....maybe thats why :cheers:
I wasnt getting any sound last night when I started to record so I checked and rechecked everything like 5 times until I noticed the channel was muted in Pro Tools hahaha

I love Testament! Great playing and it sounded good to me. There are sort of 'phase issue' tones as part of that song (like near the beginning when it drops to just one rhythm guitar) so it sounds right to me. But that might not be what wiseblood is referring to.

I tweaked the mix....my ears are shot but I think it sounds better now

Nice! Your singer does a great job on a pretty unique voice in metal.
