Damn, I like Het singing AIC better than anything after AJFA.

Reminds me of when I saw STP on the Family Values Tour in 2001, and Cantrell came out. He and Dean DeLeo had an extended jam. Then Scott said, "Jerry, when are you getting the band back together? We want more AIC!" Crowd went nuts. Who knew a few months later...

All I know is that is the best I've heard him sing since 1994. Also love Jerry's tones. Another legend. I miss Layne Staley more than all the rest that went too young.

The Wine Red LPC is one of the best looking guitars ever made. Damn.

Wish Gibson would bring it back.
It's the first LP I lusted after. I remember staring up at the wine red custom on the wall when I was 17, playing a Charvette.
My first LP was a 78 black beauty custom. Shoulda kept that one.

Hah, I have a similar story. I remember the first time I saw a wine red LPC. I was on the early side of being a teenager and walked into a guitar store on a trip to Memphis once. Saw one hanging on a wall. It was the first guitar up until that point that stopped me in my tracks and made me think "damn, that thing is serious." It was the most pro, well-designed looking instrument I'd seen.

By the time I scraped enough together to get a serious guitar of my own, other guitars had caught my eye and I went in another direction. I'd still love to get one. I bet the Made to Measure thing they offer at Gibson would put one together if I felt like spending a totally obscene amount of money on it though, lol.

Yeah man! As a LZ and GnR fan, seeing one in person was mesmerizing.
Obscene is the word. Prices are insane.
The last few new Gibsons I've purchased, Adam Jones and Charlie Starr sigs, were horribly screwed up, QA wise. Shouldn't have left the shop.
Made to Measure seems to be on another level. Haven't had the pleasure of playing.
