...and it's called the Rhodes Colossus. I'll do a more thorough and comprehensive review once my time with the amp has ended, but after just one rehearsal I can tell you that this is the amp that will change the tube amp landscape. There's basically four channels but with the "bright," "fat," and "mode" switches on most of the channels the tonal palette here is vast. In a band setting, the Colossus simply slayed. I was playing through a 2 x 12 and was up against a Mesa MK IIc++ through a Marshall 1960BV. Not only did the Colossus keep up, it had plenty left in the tank. The tones were simply beautiful: all the crunch, grind, punch, and thrust you could ever need are at your disposal, and still retaining focus and string-to-string clarity.
I'm going to do some solo clips as well as the recordings I did with the band. I'm no audio or video wizard so don't expect too much. Bottom line is if you're not seriously considering this amp you may want to have your ears checked. (No disrespect intended to any other manufacturer/designers.)
