Don't apologize man, you were excited and wrote an emotionally charged review. Just because some people got butt hurt because they want everything sugar coated doesn't mean you should have to say you're sorry for anything. Just like everybody's busting Steve's balls because he loves his SLO, so what? Dude's sunk probably 10s of thousands of dollars in gear into the gutter to find what he likes. I'm happy for the both of you really, I wish it was me finding THE amp

Well, the Rhodes went off to its next lucky player today and my all-too-brief time with the amp has ended. Pray to the gods that my A/V skills are light years better than my playing or we'll all be listening to clips of, "check, check, one, two... is that little meter thingy moving at all?"

I guess here's the real testimony before the clips--if I had the cash to spare I'd already have placed an order. BTW--my Herbert is still for sale...

Kyle is definately the real deal. He helped me with my jsx when i was tweaking it. His suggestions turned my jsx into a completely different beast (Sandman has heard it as well as loved it). From kyle's help with the jsx and the quick responses to me emails/pm's, not to mention what few soundclips i have heard of the colosus, i am positive it will be my next amp purchase. If he can take an existing circuit and make it do exactly what i want, i could only imagine how great his own design will sound

Working on them, but as I've mentioned, my audio/video kung foo is fairly weak--still learning. I recorded the solo clips with two different ZOOM hand-helds (Q3, Q3HD) and an E609 into SONAR. Hopefully I can get something usable to put together... stay tuned!!
